Trouble installing Low Events can you tell me if this is a PHP version problem? Sorry new.

Trying to install Low Events on ee2.5.5 but get this: Fatal error: Class 'DateTime' not found in /www/******/public_html/******/expressionengine/third_party/low_events/libraries/Low_date.php on line 100
So my thinking is I don't have needed version of PHP? I am hosting on Engine Hosting.

   The docs state that you need PHP version 5.2+ http://gotolow.com/addons/low-events/...
   
   You can check your version in the CP under Tools - phpinfo.
