Low Search keyword filters Clashing ('match' and 'inflect')

Mark Rowe 20 Dec 2018 10:58 problem, active

Hi,
I'm trying to use both the 'match' keyword filter, (to float exact matching titles to the top) AND the 'inflect' filter (to handle singulars & plurals)...
{exp:low_search:results limit="20" query="{segment_2}" keywords:lang="en" keywords:match="title" keywords:inflect="yes" }
But regardless of what order I put these filters in, the 'match' one stops working when the 'inflect' one is added.

    What version of EE and LS are you using?
    Also, can you enable the Template Debugger and copy/paste the lines that mention LS here?

    Hi,
    EE = v2.11.8
    LS = 4.4.3

    Template Debugging doesn't seem to be working for me.

    Does the above version info help at all?

    Many thanks

    Template debugger data is pretty essential. Might be hardcoded in your config file.

    Note that support for versions that run on retired EE versions is limited.

    The only entry in the config file area is...
    $config['debug']=1

    should I try changing that value?

    No, that's not it. The config keys you're looking for are template_debugging and show_profiler (both should be set to 'y').

    You should also be logged in as SuperAdmin on the front-end of the site. If you're using a different (sub)domain for the CP and front-facing site, the latter might not recognize you as logged in...
