Paul Larson 18 Oct 2017 20:28 question, complete

LowSearch: We have a client that has a Companies channel that relate to Blog posts. E.g. "Creative Arc" relates to a blog post about "biology"
We have Low search doing what what we want.
BUT! Today, the client asks us for the following:
Search for "biology," and return "Creative Arc"
The blog post about Biology has no relation to Creative Arc.
BUT, the Creative Arc company entry, in a relationship field, relates to that blog post about "Biology"
(The blog post itself has zero relationship fields)
are we out of luck?

The native Relationships field doesn't store or return any searchable data, so they can't be added to the search index for the Keywords filter to use.

You'd need to use the Relationships filter, which can target parents or children of a given entry ID/IDs.

So, in your case, you would be out of luck...
