Searching URL_TITLE with Keyword Filter

Nick Bedard 12 Oct 2017 13:23 question, complete

On our site, we randomly generate the URL title for entries created by our users and use that as their unique identifier (i.e. 45767896157a29d0925058). The system works great. However, in the admin portal we've created we often use Low Search to lookup customers info, by name, address, etc. For some reason though, I cannot search by the URL_TITLE which in most cases would be the easiest.

Does anyone have any ideas how to make that work?

Thanks,
Nick

Correct, the Keywords filter can't add the url_title field to the searchable index. If you need to target the url_title specifically, you can use the Field Search filter, and a parameter name "search:url_title" instead of "keywords".
