Distance search results from Gmap field type

Wayne 26 May 2017 13:43 question, complete

Hi, I'm trying to create a store locator using the gmaps filed type module to plot the store location within channel entries and low search to search store locations.

I'm struggling to know what to enter in the distance:to="lat|lng" parameter in low_search:results tag

Could someone please help me with this.

Thanks

Wayne.

The distance:to parameter should contain the name or names of the field or fields that hold the lat/long values of the entry.

If you're using a single field, then the lat/long values should be comma separated.

    For example: distance:to="my_coordinates_field" or distance:to="latitude_field|longitude_field"

I'm not sure how the Gmap field stores coordinated, but the above is what Low Search expects for its distance filter. http://gotolow.com/addons/low-search/...
