Yes, i removed all the low variable template tags and there was no error. Additionally, I deleted all the variables and rebuilt thinking that would resolve, but no dice either.
difficult to communicate on this thing since this editor pretty much strips out all ee tags. There a better place to show you issue and/or send you admin access so you can poke around. Already spent quite a bit of time on this and would be greatly appreciative if you could help take a look. Keep me posted. Thanks!

Is this when you create the var in the Low Variables Control Panel, or when you add the tag to your template?
Looks like the same issue as here: https://getsatisfaction.com/low/topic... -- which sadly lacks a follow up.
Can you verify if the error also occurs in an empty template, with just that tag in it?

Ok, was finally able to get on a staging server. Please take a look: http://bsl.mc2dev.com/store

Yes, I can see the error. But can you verify if the error also occurs in an empty template, with just that tag in it?

I'll need to take a look myself. Please send SuperAdmin and FTP login credentials to hi at gotolow dot com if you can.

This is caused by a bug in EE, when using multiple Grid content types in one template and using a modifier variable in a conditional.
Here is the bug report: https://expressionengine.com/support/...
The workaround was to use the (otherwise unrecommended) braced-and-quoted syntax for the conditional.
