Low Search - alphabetize results ignoring articles

Kevin Kemmerly 5 Dec 2016 15:10 question, complete

Is it possible to order results in Low Search alphabetically and ignore articles like "the" or "a" at the beginning of titles?

The site is running EE 2.7.2 and LS 3.1.6

Thanks.

It is not, no. Only Low Alphabet will let you ignore articles like that.

    Okay, thanks.

Any integration between LS and LA – i.e. any way to take LS results and order with LA?

An extension could be written using this hook, to use the low_alphabet:entries method rather than the channel:entries one.
