Low GoogleSearch and Thousands of Suspicious Queries
We're a digital agency and have used Low GoogleSearch on numerous projects in the past with good results. Recently we launched a new site and within a month our 20,000 Google Custom Search query limit was exceeded. Looking at Google's statistics it shows hundreds of thousands of queries in the format 'w??v' or '??????'. I've looked at our server logs and do not see these hitting our server -- all the requests look legitimate. Has anyone experienced this before? Any ideas on what we can do?

This might be caused by bots submitting the form. There's not much LGS can do about that. You might want to check if you can add some kind of (invisible) captcha to the search form.
