LV 3.0.1 not working with EE 3.1.4

oliver.heine 27 Feb 2016 22:27 problem, rejected

When trying to create or clone a variable I get:

Fatal error: Call to a member function accepts_content_type() on a non-object in /home/public_html/system/ee/EllisLab/Addons/grid/libraries/Grid_lib.php on line 644

I cannot replicate this specific error message. There is a bug reported concerning the Grid variable type here: https://support.ellislab.com/bugs/det... -- which hasn't been addressed so far. However, I'm not sure your issue is related to it.

When exactly are you getting the error message: when accessing the New Variable form, or when trying to save a new variable. Also, which 3rd party field types are installed, which are compatible with Grid?

And for the record, what's your PHP version?

Sorry for the fuss. Looks like an EE bug.
    Dies right when accessing low_variables/edit_var/new.

    PHP 5.4.45 right now.

It actually happens when creating any new field in EE, too.

Can't replicate under PHP 5.4 either. Try and contact EllisLab to fix the issue, as I reckon you're right; it seems to be related to EE itself, rather than LV.

Well, reuploading grid 3.1.2 makes the error go away.
Beginning with 3.1.3 my installation breaks.
Thanks for yout time. I'll file the bug report elsewhere ;)
