Problem with Index Build - Showing Expired Entries

jwmatlock 14 Jan 2016 23:33 problem, complete

I have a search collection that is pulling results for expired entries. When I got to check on the build, it shows the "Index does not appear to be up to date. Please rebuild." notice, so I rebuild the index, and it acts like it builds correctly. I then reload the 'Collections' page in the admin and the notice "Index does not appear to be up to date. Please rebuild." shows again. None of the other collections are doing this. Any ideas?

Running EE 2.9.2 and Low Search 4.4.1

Thanks.

Can you try and hold the alt-key while clicking the 'Build' link for that collection?

    That worked! Why is that?

Bit of a hidden feature. Alt-clicking the build link will first completely delete the index instead of updating existing entries, removing rogue entries. Takes a bit more effort, which is why it isn't default behaviour.
