Low Events triggers "unable to load the requested file col_settings_tmpl.php" error
Hi Low,
I'm having this same problem after upgrading Low Events. I have double-checked that I don't have any duplicate third party folders, and I tried deleting and reinstalling the low_events folder.
I also noticed that even though Low Events is at version 1.5.0, when I run module updates it shows as version 1.4.1.

Where exactly are you getting this error? On the publish form or somewhere else? What is your EE version? And since the original question was related to Low Variables, do you have that installed, too? If so, what version?

Hi Low,
I'm getting this error in the Channel Fields page, when I click on a channel field to edit it. EE version 2.9.2. I do not have Low Variables installed. I do have the following Low add-ons installed: alphabet, events, googlesearch, options, replace, search. Thanks!

Okay, I commented out line #144 of ft.low_events.php, which reads
...which solved the issue.
Will do some more testing myself and include the fix in the next version.

Hi Low, I have the same issue and just bought Low Events...has this been resolved so that I don't have to comment out the line in the core files of your add-on?

Not yet, but I'll release the fixed version soon. EE3 compatibility took precedence.

I am having this same issue. Site is on EE 2.8.1. I had tried to upgrade to 2.11.2, but we had some legacy code that wasn't working, so I reverted to 2.8.1. Low Events was already installed, but we upgraded to 1.5.1 (we had emailed about this). The site is still showing the plugin as v1.2.2, and I'm getting the Unable to load the requested file: col_settings_tmpl.php error every time I try to go into channel fields. Another plugin, Channel Images is not working, which is why I needed to look into the channel fields. I do not see either the stray file, nor the line of code which you suggest to comment out.
Help!
