Low search - searching for entries that are related parents...
Hello, we're working on a few site improvements and I have hit a possible challenge.
We have a channel "Timeline" which has several entries.
We then have entries from several other channels are related to the timeline(s). These entries become the parent related item (the reverse of what you might think, this was done for administration purposes (too verbose to give reasons here!).
So Timeline entries are the children, related = parents.
On the front end we view a timeline, then show related parents.
We would like use the already installed LOW Search, to search all parent entries, ONYL where they match the given child (the child a user might be currently viewing).
The sites running low search, playa / matrix... I'd be happy to use the built in relationship / grid addons if that helps.
Any thought's how we might achieve this?

If I understand you correctly, you should be able to use the Relationships filter. That way, you should be able to limit entries by their parent or child.
