Returning distinct results possible?

Jason Boothman 3 Sep 2015 19:35 question, complete

I have a channel with a lot of entries (30,000+) that is the only channel being searched with Low Search. For one field in particular that is the basis of most searches, there are about 600-800 unique values (approximately 40-50 entries have the exact same value in this field).

I would like to adjust the search parameters to only return DISTINCT values for this particular field. It currently displays all 40-50 results in a table which is basically the same information repeated, so displaying DISTINCT values would be ideal.

This isn't possible out of the box, but can be done with a custom filter.

Note that, with such a custom filter, LS will show only 1 of those grouped entries.

If you need me to build such a filter, just contact me: http://gotolow.com/contact
