Low Search index doesn't contain grid fields marked as searchable.

jaspertandy 6 Jan 2015 12:26 problem, complete

Low Search's Keywords filter will treat a Grid field as a single searchable entity. As long as the field itself and (some of) its columns are searchable, you can search for Entries that have the keywords in the entire Grid field. Right I see! I don't need to be able to search for individual questions and answers, just the channel entry as it relates to a grid field so that's fine. Didn't realise I needed to re-save everything out, but I've done that and it's working now. Wish I'd tried that before I wrote an extension to push grid data to the index! Thanks for your response.
