Getting Errors in control panel after updating to EE 2.9.2. Erros coming from Low Events

Brian Rivet 22 Nov 2014 17:07 problem, complete

Hi,

I am in the process of updating a client's site from EE 2.5.5 to EE 2.9.2. I was able to update the system, and I ran updates on the modules etc., but when I try to run the module updates for Low Events I keep getting the following error:

Severity: 8192

Message: Non-static method Low_events_model::load_models() should not be called statically, assuming $this from incompatible context

Filename: low_events/upd.low_events.php

Line Number: 73

I also get this error now if I try to go and create a new field in a channel. I was wondering if you could help me sort out the issue. I am performing the update on my local dev server right now because I thought there might be some issues jumping up this many versions, so this isn't affecting a live site, but my local dev server isn't going to be accessible to you directly. If you can tell me what to look for I'll try to fix it here. The version of Low Events I am updating to is 1.3.0.

Thanks!

Brian

That's an error that occurs on PHP 5.6, and is fixed in version 1.3.1: http://gotolow.com/addons/low-events/changelog
