Entering URL doesn't trigger Low Search Shortcut results to appear
I'm currently having issues with Low Search Shortcuts. I must be doing something wrong, but I am using my search log to click the arrow link, which then fills out the short cut screen. All the parameters look fine. I name and label the shortcut oregon. So my search should be site.com/search/oregon. When I enter this as a url, nothing happens. It says i don't have any entries. But when you search for oregon manually, you get all entries. Is there something i'm missing?

Make sure you pass on the shortcut name to the shortcut="" parameter:

I just had this same problem. Maybe this parameter requirement should be more clear in the docs?

Hi Mike. How would it have been more clear to you in the docs?

Hi Low.
Well, as I understand it, the only reference to this requirement is the last line on this page: http://gotolow.com/addons/low-search/...
"In addition to that, the Form, Filters, and Results tags all support a shortcut parameter to trigger the shortcut."
Firstly, I'd make it more obvious that this parameter is *required* in order to display results via a shortcut.
Second, I wouldn't group this information along with the information about the Shortcuts tag, as that's a completely different feature. I would split the "Displaying Shortcuts" section into two sections, thus:
Displaying Search Results Using a Shortcut
The Form, Filters, and Results tags all support a shortcut parameter to trigger the shortcut. This parameter is required in order to display search results using a shortcut.
Displaying a List of Shortcuts
Use the Shortcuts tag to display a list of shortcuts. By default, these will be displayed in the order they appear in their group, which makes this tag useful for creating custom navigation.
...Unless I'm missing something, which is entirely possible! :P

Yep, that makes sense. Thanks for your feedback.
