Displaying just weekends or weekdays listing

Hi Low,

Is it possible to use the custom date ranges in Low Events to show an events listing that contains, for example, only events that fall on the weekend in September? And conversely, events that fall on week days in September?

I looked at the PHP documentation for the relative date formats, but couldn’t work out if this was possible.

You wisdom in this area would be much appreciated.

   Hi Simon,
   
   I'm afraid not. In LE, a (custom) date range has a start date and an end date. Displaying events that fall on the weekend doesn't match such a range, but is actually multiple ranges.
   
   However, if you add another field to your Events channel, where you can define whether it's a weekend event or not, you could filter by that field in addition to a (single) date range.

   I think I’ll run with your suggestion as it’s much simpler than writing a custom SQL query (my other option).
