Define search collections explicitly across MSM sites

Is it possible to include results from very specific MSM collections?

For example "all collections on site 2 and 'collection B' on site 1"?

   The only way to do this is to set them using the site="" and collection="" parameters. For example:
   
   site="site1|site2" collection="A|B|C|D"
   
   ...where A, B and C belong to site1 and D belongs to site2. "All collections from site 2" isn't possible in this notation.
