Non-superadmin cannot access low reorder

Peter Stalker 27 Nov 2013 17:39 question, complete

I have created a new member group and given it almost all the access privileges of a super admin. For this group have selected Low Reorder as a module to which they have access. And within Low Reorder settings I have given this group the right to create sets. Still, however, this user group can only see the list of sets and does not have the option to edit or reorder any existing sets. When the user tries to create a new set the message is Operation not permitted.

I am using EE 2.7.2 and Low Reorder v222.

I have seen this problem raised before and have looked at previous responses. I looked at the PHP file mentioned in these, but this change has already been made. As far as I can see I have accorded the necessary privileges.

Any ideas?

Per Low Reorder Set, you need to define the permissions for that set: each member group can either only reorder entries or reorder and edit settings, see: http://gotolow.com/addons/low-reorder...

Can you verify that the permissions per set are correct for that member group?

I had not noticed that you should also set the group permissions per set.

Thanks for the rapid response. Excellent product - and support!
