Low-events - insert link and mail an event
I want to use Low-events for the first time and I wonder if I can rich what I need.
I wil use the Entries Tag and the end result wil be something like that:
CURRENT MONTH next month>>
titel event 1
datum event 1
time event 1
description event 1
Mail this event to a friend >>
titel event 2
datum event 2
time event 2
description event 2
Mail this event to a friend >>
.....
In the Event Description it must be possible to insert links to website or email adres. But if I look at the picture on the site van gotolow/low-events it looks like there is no text editor.
I wonder also if I can mail an event to someone with Freeform. When you clic on Mail this event to a friend >> you go to a page with a form and all the information of the event are send with.

The thing to remember: entries are events. Events are entries.
So, just create a channel (eg. Events) and add fields to it, just like you would with any regular old channel. Just make sure you add one Low Events fieldtype to it, which contains a date/time picker to set the event start/end dates.
Those dates are then used to filter entries (the events) using the low_events:entries tag. Displaying a single entry (event) can just as easily be done with the channel:entries tag -- makes no difference. So you can use that in combination with Freeform, or the native tell-a-friend form, or whatever you'd like.

Thanks for the very fast reply. I'm going to buy it and start playing with it.
What you mean is, because I' m using Structure, my channel (eg. Events) is a listing, each event is an entry and I can make some custom fields and this custom fiels can be used with each entry/event and will appear with each event. One of this custom field has to be the Low Events fieldtype.

Correct. If you start playing with it, try and do so outside of Structure first, so you get the general gist of it. The way it uses dates in the URI, etc. Then use in Structure at your own risk. ;)

I never made a ee site without Structure and the one who needs Low-events is finish, I just need to integrate Events.
You are not sure if Low-events will work with Structure, it might be a problem with the link to the next month and previous month?

It will work, as long as you make the URIs for the listings dynamic, in the sense that you'll probably need something like Freebie to pass through the segment variables to the Low Events tags.

It's all new for me, I will do my best and maybe I will ask you some help if I don't manage.
For this site I'm going to buy also Low Alphabet, does it work with Structure. I suppose I will have to make also the URIs dynamic. I don't know yet what it means but i will learn, I hope ;-)

Same goes for Low Alphabet. If you use Freebie to pass through the segment variables, there shouldn't be a problem.
