Low search and index.php

Stéphane Cabaret 14 Sep 2013 14:33 question, complete

Hi,

When I delele index.php from: "URL to the root directory of your site" in General Configuration, the results search page become the root address site.

It is possible to use Low search without index.php define as the root directory of the site?

thanks,

Stéphane

I'm not quite sure what you mean exactly, but it is totally possible to have the index.php removed from the URL and have search results.

If the search form is sending you to the index page of your site after submitting, you might need to check the DirectoryIndex rule in your .htaccess file:

    DirectoryIndex index.php index.html

...or remove the index.html file from your directory root if it exists there.

    Low,

As the site is under construction, the homepage is independant from EE, it's index.html.

When I remove it, the results search page appears.

    Thanks for the help
