Low Variables and MSM - undefined index

Media Surgery 12 Jan 2013 14:13 problem, complete

Hi,

I'm having problems with MSM and LV on a second site. (The first and main site works fine.)

Open base restriction is off and i just solved a problem with date.timezone not being set but this seems to be a different problem.

Error:

A PHP Error was encountered

Severity: Notice

Message: Undefined index: low_variables

Filename: libraries/Extensions.php

Line Number: 175

Unable to load the following extension file:

ext.low_variables.php

PHP 5.3.5 / EE 2.5.3 / LV 2.3.2 / MSM 2.1.4

When i disable the extension that solves it.

I've tried reinstalling but no joy.

Thanks.

That's rather strange, as the error is coming from EE itself, not from LV.

Do you have any other extensions installed? What happens if you disable just the LV ext and keep other extensions enabled?

    Hi,

I've tried disabling all of the other extensions (apart from Playa) and just having LV but no joy.

When i disable LV the second MSM works ok.

This is on a live server as i cannot recreate this locally unfortunately.

    Thanks.

Any chance I can take a look? You can send superadmin login credentials to hi at gotolow dot com.

Also, are you using some sort of config override for the third party folder location?

Turned out this was an issue with the custom config.php file, making the path to the third_party folder relative to the index file of the active MSM site.

Setting it to the actual path of the third_party folder solved the issue.
