There is, but I'd recommend you only do that if the content of your entries is altered by sources outside of EE. The index is kept up-to-date automatically if you're just using the CP / SafeCracker to manage your entries.
Not sure how you would create the actual cron job on your server (that's beyond the scope of LS support), but you'll have to use the url explained here for it.
