Issues with Low Variables (Javascript Error causing problems in CP)

JoeGengler 24 Oct 2012 23:34 problem, complete

Hello,

I recently upgraded to the latest version of Low Variables and I am having a problem with a couple Matrix low variables. Not sure it is specifically a low issue but for some reason I am unable to add rows to the Matrix field types within the Low Variable. Also when this happens I am unable t utilize the main menu in the CP. I checked my Developer console and found a Error being thrown from low_variables.js line 42

Uncaught TypeError: Object function (a,c){return new b.fn.init(a,c,f)} has no method 'cookie'

Any help to resolve this problem would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Joe,

Can't seem to replicate. Can you verify that you have the latest version of low_variables.js in your /themes/third_party/low_variables/scripts/ folder? Also, can you try clearing your browser cache?

    Low,

Thanks for your prompt response. I uploaded the JS file again from a new download of the addon folder and it seems to work great not. I am not sure what happened but I think it was not replaced when I uploaded the new version assets. You can close this issue.
