How can I find events in a given date range?

diederik.van.hoorebeke 22 Oct 2012 08:41 question, complete

Hi,

I'm using low events. And I would like to show events in a given date range. Is that possible?

Thanks.

Depends on the date range. You can show events in a given year, month, week or day, as well as showing all (upcoming) events from given date.

Other (custom) date ranges aren't supported at the moment.

Not even with the low search module?

Not yet, but that's on the todo-list.

    Hi,

The project is finished. Except for the date range. Any idea when you're planning to integrate the date range functionality?

Low Search integration is coming soon, but for existing Low Events parameters/ranges. When Low Events supports custom ranges, so will Low Search. No ETA for that at the moment, tho.

What ranges are you looking for? That'll give me an idea as to what to build support for.

Well, you can get events for a given day. For example: 1st of january 2013.
It would be nice to get events between two dates. For example: 1st of january 2013 to 10th of january 2013.

It would be even nicer if the url-parameter used, would be auto detecting a date range or a single day. For example:
    http://visitbruges.be/calendar/2012-1...
    could become:
    http://visitbruges.be/calendar/2012-1...

+1 for this. I have a need to display the next 10 days' events (starting from today) and also to be able to filter by arbitrary custom date ranges.

+1 for this as well... I need to be able to show all passed events but only within the last year. (ie: anything over a year old would no longer show up)

    It's on the list, gentlemen.

+1. I need to do the same as Rob.
