Is there a way to detect file type?

Hey Low -

Is there a way within the {entries} loop to detect file type? We're seeing video files returned with timeline-ish numbers for an {excerpt} and would like to remove those.

   The request parameters will allow you to exclude certain file types, using the as_filetype parameter. Would that help?

   Hmm...no, we don't want to exclude videos just the excerpt for them.
   
   No biggie if not, but client was asking.

   Don't think that's a value returned by Google, by the looks of it...
