How to populate select dropdown options in Low Search form?

Hi Low

Think I'm having a mental block today! I'm trying to populate a select dropdown in a Low Search form with data from a custom field that uses P&T dropdown. It's straightforward enough using Safecracker but I'm at a loss here. Should I be looking to use the query module for this?
