Feature Request in Yearly Archives

JoeGengler 1 Aug 2012 23:25 question, rejected

Hello,

I am working on a site for a corporation that needs to display its fiscal documents for the public to be able to access. Is there anyway to change the sorting of entries in the Yearly Archives plugin to use a fiscal year July 1 - June 30 instead of the calendar year? I know I can set the filters in the parameters but it shows two years instead of 1 fiscal year.

Example: If we post our Strategic plan that covers 2012-2013 fiscal year in the year 2012 it will only show on the 2012 archive year which is fine. If I post another fiscal document in January 2013 it is still part of the 2012 fiscal year but it will show on the 2013 year in the archives which would not work based on our fiscal year setup.

I think this would require a feature addition? Please let me know if I make sense. I have been trying to come up with an alternative but I cannot seem to find it.

Thanks! Love your extensions!

Disregard. I ended up switching to categories and using Low Seg2Cat to help filter by a category friendly URL in the URL segment and an additional category ID in the channel entries parameters. Worked like a charm. Low your stuff is awesome!!! Thanks!
