Events and related entries

Can you confirm (or deny) that the exp:low_events tag works with vanilla EE related entries.

My events have speakers - I keep speakers in a separate channel and relate the speaker to an event. (as they may speak at more than one event)

    Yes, native EE Relationships will work just like in a regular channel:entries tag.
