File path woes

Ian Ebden 26 Jun 2012 15:53 problem, complete

Hi Low. I'm probably doing something silly here, but my files are saving in a "default_site" folder inside another "default_site" folder. My path is correct:

/home/rivtest/public_html/assets/html/low_variables/

If I delete the inner folder and save my vars again, the folder is recreated so I end up with:

/home/rivtest/public_html/assets/html/low_variables/default_site/default_site/

Just can't figure out why. Any thoughts?

Well that's odd. I've just set the file path in my config.php instead and all is well. Huh.

Oh also, was wondering if you had any plans to add EE's RTE as a field type in Low Variables? I know it's flaky, but I'd rather use than Wygwam in some instances.

Good thing the path woes are solved.

I do have plans to support the native RTE, just as soon as EllisLab add a proper API to it, so it can be used in th CP, outside ofmthe publish form. For now, that would mean a guessing game, which I'm not willing to play...
