No Entries showing?

britchie 17 Jun 2012 20:31 problem, complete

Hi Low,

I've recently upgraded a site from EE 2.3 to 2.5 and upgraded to Low Reorder 2.0.2. Forget the order - I can't get any entries to display and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong(?)

Here's the tag I'm using:
--------------------------------
{exp:low_reorder:entries channel="people" set="1" category="2" dynamic="no"}
{title}
{/exp:low_reorder:entries}
--------------------------------
I'm using this in an embedded template but not able to get any results returned even if I copy the code to the parent template???

    Hi. Can you try and go to the Reorder Entries page of that Set and (re)save the order for that set? Does that make a difference?

    Having the same problem - resaving does not fix the issue.

    Clearing the catch and removing the channel seemed to do the trick

    Hi Low, This seems to be returning results AND in the right order now after re-saving.

    With the use of sets - is the 'channel' parameter needed?
    Seems to work with/without.

    FYI - this upgrade exercise has proved to be a little confusing as to what the correct tags should be and maybe some examples would help. Eg: in my case I have the Low Reorder tags in an embedded template...

    No, the channel parameter is not needed. All filters (parameters) are set automatically behind the scenes according to the set="" parameter defined. Adding the parameter will override the set's filter.

    Re: docs -- good point. I'll see if I can make the docs a bit clearer on this. Glad to see it's resolved, tho!
