Would be nice if your plug can offer predictive/ autocomplete search for users, where the admin can specify whether to use the 'Title' or other custom fields as the autocomplete source.

I usually prefer to remain neutral about front-end enhancements like that (would be an Ajax-y solution), but I'll take this into consideration to see how I could accommodate that in an easy way.

Good point, it could work like the EE's Datepicker widget for Safecracker.

Then your addon can automatically insert the necessary and files.

I'd really appreciate an autocomplete/autosuggest option. A lot of my customers request exactly this functionality. :)

I actually rejected this idea on the basis that I think it should be front-end solution and therefore not the responsibility of the add-on to arrange. So, sorry, it's not planned.
