Low Reorder and Data Grab

Phil@SellerDeck 6 May 2012 08:26 question, complete

Hi All,

I am about to import a mass of data into EE2 using DataGrab.

I do have an integer field in the data that specifies the order of the entries, which I'd like to use.

Is it possible to map this to the Low Reorder field, somehow, so I don't have to manually sort the entries?

Regards,

Phil@SellerDeck

    Hi Phil,

That's not possible with Low Reorder 2. However, version 1 did use a channel field to store the order. So, if the import is a one-off, I could send you the previous Low Reorder version, then you can map the order to the Low Reorder channel field, then upgrade Low Reorder to v2.

    Thanks Low,

It's not a big deal, so I'll find another path.

    Hi Phil,

Just stumbled across this by accident (I'm the author of DataGrab).

Let me know if you need any help. I may be able add support for Low Reorder 2 if you need it.
