Can low search search cartthrob price simple fields (http://cartthrob.com/docs/fieldtypes/...? Be a great selling point if it could, as then faceted search by price band may be possible.

It depends on what the type of field is in the database (exp_channel_data table). If the field is a float or decimal, it should already work. If it's a regular varchar or text field, it probably will not...
