Reorder null's a variable

jenschr 14 Dec 2011 20:46 question,

Hi Lodewijk! I just got Reorder from you, but I have a problem. In a template I am using the variable {someVar} to build a URL like this /somepath/{someVar}/. This variable is the one used for the Reorder-field and I need it to be in the URL.

When I later in the same template pass in id="someVar" into a Related Entries block, the former variable is "nulled" (outputs nothing) so my URL becomes /somepath// instead of for example /somepath/2/.

Do you have any idea what causes the variable to be nulled?

I'm not sure what it is you're trying to do here. Is the {someVar} variable a Low Reorder custom field? And you're trying to build a URL with it? Why would you then pass the someVar field as an ID to a related entries block?

Again, not sure what you're trying to accomplish. Could you elaborate? Also mention EE version, Low Reorder version and possible other add-ons involved.
