AB Pagination

jesseknowles 4 Dec 2011 07:30 problem, rejected

Hi Low,

I'm having trouble trying to get AB Pagination to play nice with Low Search. Here is a discussion from their forum that talks about it... http://getsatisfaction.com/addonbaker...

It's weird in that usually when I do a search the ab pagination works fine but when I go to the next page of the pagination the pagination no longer will show up and will actually display {abp_pages} {abp_num} {/abp_pages} in the browser. So their must be an issue tying in with it from your add-on. Any ideas how I might be able to get this to work?

    Low, something to add to this. I've found that (this all happens randomly by the way), I do a search, the ab pagination shows up fine. I refresh the page, the pagination shows what I described above, as in, the ab pagination plugin tags show up in the browser.

    Hi Jesse,

    Can you first try and add these parameters to the low_search:results tag:

    dynamic="no" paginate="bottom"

    If it still doesn't work, can you send me your copy of AB Pagination, so I can test it myself? You can send it to hi at gotolow dot com.

    No, that didn't work. However, I did find something that did. In global channel preferences, when I turn off 'Cache Dynamic Channel Queries' it does work fine. Just kind of sucks having to turn that off site-wide for this one feature.

    That's strange. Does the pagination work on that page if you change the low_search:results tag to a normal channel:entries tag?

    Hi Low,
    I am having this same problem right now (with all latest versions)...
    Here is my thread over at AB support (https://getsatisfaction.com/addonbake...).
    Would you like me to send you a recent copy of AB Pagination?
