Bug in IEs - Low Reorder

blamejen 10 Oct 2011 02:24 problem, complete

I just found out 'Low Reorder' has a bug in IEs while doing cross browsers. I have checked on IE 8 & 9 but it isn't dragable.

Could you please take a look for the issue?

Thanks for your help.
Cheers

    Hi!

I cannot seem to replicate this. Are you sure the javascript is being loaded? You can check by going to Low Reorder settings and then see if the example code is being generated.

    hi low,
a customer of mine has the same problem. he can't reorder in IE...
I installed IE9 on win7 and the example code is being generated - but I also can't reorder the entries... The big cross is shown, but I cannot drag it... it's reorder 1.2.1 ...

    cheers

Hi, I'm currently in New York for the EECI conference (eeciconf.com) and won't be able to further test this until I have access to an IE install back home... As soon as I do, I'll get straight on it!

Still can't seem to be able to reproduce this in neither IE8 nor IE9.

Can any of you give me access to the installation itself? Or can you see a javascript error in the browser?

Hey Low - I'm just encountering this issue as well. EE 1.7.0 and LR 1.2.1, under IE 9. No javascript errors in the console, just no dragging and dropping happening. Very odd.

I am running the CP under SSL, which maybe is something non-standard, though all assets are indeed loading via SSL, not getting any mixed content warnings.

Drop me an email if you want to take a peek? derek@amphibian.info

To Jen and outline4: Are you using EE1 or EE2?

If you're using EE1, then try and update the jQuery for CP extension settings. They should point to recent versions of jQuery and jQuery UI, for example versions 1.7.0 and 1.8.16 (UI). If that doesn't solve it for you (like it has with Derek), then feel free to reopen the thread.
