spatafore 21 Sep 2011 19:12 question, complete

hi, I have some global variables; I install low variables... the problem?
when I give you access to the client, they can see and MODIFY the global variables, and that is so bad, they can destroy the site, why global variables appear in low variables?

I see an option to "HIDE" if I hide dont affect my site?

by the way I use global variables and manage templates with mountee hellomountee.com/

You can limit access to any module by member group. For Low Variables, you can also select which member groups can administer the variables by making them 'Variable Managers'. You can do this in the extension settings.

If you then set a variable to Hidden, that variable will not be shown to non-managers. Managers will always see all variables.

good but so low variables takes for the default "global variables" ? right? I mean when you install low variables, show the global variables inside low variables (like the screenshot) I dont say in any moment to low variables module that take global variables, they appear when I install by default.

Yes, Low Variables builds upon the native User Defined Global Variables, so any existing ones are meant to show up there.
