Low Search: No results for a specific keyword, "red"

3ssential 21 Sep 2011 17:26 problem, complete

"Red" is a fairly common term in the entries I'm searching, but does not turn up any results. Any other keywords I've tried work well, and keyword phrases including "red" turn up results. I've tried changing the minimum word length for indexing to 3 chars, then 2. I've rebuilt the index many times, but still no results. "Red" does not appear to be a stopword, either.

Any ideas? For this particular site, "red" is an important keyword to be able to search for, so this is a pretty notable hole in the experience.

The minimum word length is determined by MySQL, so changing it in the extension settings won't have that effect. I recommend you set that back to 4.

Have you tried setting loose_ends to "yes"?

If that doesn't give back any results, then could you send me SuperAdmin login credentials, so I can take a look? You can send it to hi at gotolow dot com.
