Low Google Search and exp_security_hashes table

Brad Parscale 24 May 2011 17:33 problem, complete

I am using Low Google Search and my exp_security_hashes file is growing super big super fast with 10,000 plus visits per day. I am not exactly sure if it is Low search, but it is the only thing I see on the page using this hash. Can you help assist me with this growing problem?

    Hey Brad,

I have not heard of this issue before, so I'll have to do some digging. Can you provide me with SuperAdmin login credentials for your site? Then I can take a look there, too.

Would it be possible to do this over chat? The website is quite large and pretty much our biggest customer, so I would really like to go through it with you...

Just to follow up on this, and for visibility:

The issue occurs when there are a lot of visitors on your site, and once for each form generated when the 'Secure Forms' settings is set to 'Yes'.

I'll be adding a small feature to Low GoogleSearch to bypass that setting, thus not adding the record to the security_hashes table.
