Dynamic search by date

Is there a way to search by date? And then on results page to have links for years and months whitch when clicked would filter the results.

   You will always need to search using keywords, but you can filter the results by date. For this you could use any of the exp:channel:entries parameters in the exp:low_search:results tag that deal with dates, for instance the 'start_on' parameter.
   
   You could also manually add a date range to the search form by adding input fields with names that reflect the parameters.
