Looping Previous/Next Entry Links with Tags

nsbingham 4 Jan 2011 15:14 question, complete

Short of custom queries, has anyone found a way use the previous/next tags to do looping previous/next links. I'm trying to figure out how to add a previous link to the first entry that takes you to the last entry in the list and a next link to the last entry that takes you back to the first, so it's more of a carousel with no end. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I don't think there's an elegant way to do this at the moment. It does sound like a proper feature request, though. I'll probably be working on the module soon, and I will look into adding support for this, too.

Thanks for the quick reply and considering adding this it as a feature!

I can do you one better: just released a quick update (v1.0.7) that added this feature. Just use loop="yes" in the prev/next template tags.

Sorry, I didn't respond sooner, but I updated to the new version and it works perfectly. Thanks for adding this and so quickly! Made my day!
