The future of Low GoogleSearch
With EE4 coming soonish, I’ve been working hard to get all my add-ons up to speed with the structural changes that it brings. All my premium add-ons are ready to roll, and Low GoogleSearch even runs on EE4 without any changes whatsoever. Speaking of LGS…
Google has announced that they have discontinued their Google Search Appliance licenses, as well as their Google Site Search services. That’s exactly what Low GoogleSearch uses, so it doesn’t make sense to keep on developing it.
Therefore, as of now, Low GoogleSearch is also discontinued. It will keep working on EE4, so you’re not stuck if you’re still using it, but I would recommend looking into other search solutions, like the popular Low Search add-on from yours truly.
