Let’s face it, when you’ve got lots of content, EE‘s native Archive Month Links tag doesn’t cut the mustard. It generates a list that is way too long. No, what you need is Low Yearly Archives. Instead of a long list of month/year links, you can group months per year, which makes for much cleaner lists. You also get the number of entries per year or month, for free! Now that is some mustard cutting stuff.
